1. About these Community Guidelines
These Community Guidelines explain how we expect people to behave on SOLVEQO. They supplement our Terms of Service and apply to your use of the SOLVEQO marketplace, including profiles, jobs, offers, messages, reviews, photos, and other content you submit or interact with.
If there is a conflict between a summary in the Terms and a more specific rule here about conduct, the more specific rule in these Guidelines applies for conduct matters, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
These Guidelines are not legal advice. You remain responsible for complying with applicable law.
2. Marketplace context
SOLVEQO connects Customers who post local job or service requests with Professionals — independent users who may submit offers to perform work.
Important:
- SOLVEQO provides the digital platform only.
- SOLVEQO is not the employer of Professionals.
- SOLVEQO does not perform the physical work or services requested through the platform.
- SOLVEQO is not a party to agreements about scope, timing, price, payment, or performance of work between users.
SOLVEQO does not guarantee, verify, or endorse professional qualifications, licences, insurance, identity, availability, pricing, safety, legality, or the outcome of any job unless we explicitly state otherwise in a specific feature.
3. Respectful behavior
We expect users to treat each other with respect and to use SOLVEQO lawfully and honestly.
You should:
- communicate clearly and professionally about jobs, availability, scope, and expectations;
- provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- focus on resolving disagreements constructively when they arise;
- respect another user’s decision to decline an offer, stop communicating, or block you.
Disagreements can happen in a marketplace. They are not an excuse for harassment, threats, deception, or abuse.
4. Harassment, threats, discrimination and hate
The following are not allowed:
- harassment, bullying, intimidation, or stalking;
- threats of violence or harm, or encouraging others to harm someone;
- unwanted repeated contact after a user has asked you to stop, declined your offer, or blocked you;
- discriminatory abuse or degrading conduct based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age;
- slurs, hate speech, or conduct intended to demean or dehumanize others.
5. Scams, fraud and impersonation
The following are not allowed:
- scams, fraud, or attempts to obtain money, goods, services, or sensitive information through deception;
- impersonating another person or creating fake or misleading accounts;
- deliberately misleading profiles, job descriptions, qualifications, experience, availability, or offers;
- deceptive pricing or scope representations intended to mislead another user.
Payment between users. SOLVEQO does not process payment for physical work between Customers and Professionals. Normal direct or off-platform payment between a Customer and a Professional for agreed work is allowed and expected under the current SOLVEQO model.
These Guidelines do not prohibit lawful payment between users for work they agreed to perform. They do prohibit deceptive payment requests, advance-fee scams, phishing, and attempts to trick users into sending money or sensitive financial information.
6. Spam and unwanted contact
The following are not allowed:
- spam or bulk unsolicited messages;
- repetitive irrelevant offers or messages;
- promotional content unrelated to a genuine job or marketplace interaction;
- contacting or pressuring a user after they have declined, rejected, or blocked you;
- using multiple accounts or channels to bypass another user’s boundaries.
7. Legal and safe marketplace activity
Users must not:
- request or offer illegal work or services;
- knowingly perform work without licences, permits, or qualifications legally required for that work;
- misrepresent qualifications, experience, licensing, or ability to perform work safely and lawfully;
- pressure another person into unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate work;
- knowingly create dangerous situations through jobs, offers, messages, or conduct on SOLVEQO;
- use SOLVEQO to facilitate criminal activity.
Your responsibilities. Users remain responsible for determining and complying with applicable licences, permits, qualifications, insurance, tax, and safety requirements for the work they request or offer.
SOLVEQO does not independently verify these credentials unless we explicitly state otherwise in a specific feature.
8. Reviews and reputation integrity
Reviews, ratings, reputation points, rankings, and similar features are user-generated and are not endorsements, certifications, or guarantees by SOLVEQO.
The following are not allowed:
- fake reviews or reviews for jobs that did not occur as represented;
- review trading, paid reviews, or coordinated review manipulation;
- fabricated or manipulated marketplace activity intended to inflate reputation;
- leaderboard or reputation gaming;
- threats, harassment, or incentives intended to manipulate reviews;
- fraudulent, abusive, or policy-violating review content.
SOLVEQO may remove or restrict reviews or reputation data that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, manipulated, abusive, or otherwise violate these Guidelines, our Terms, or applicable law.
9. Privacy and personal information
Protect your own information and respect others’ privacy.
Users should not publicly post, solicit, misuse, or expose sensitive information such as:
- passwords or authentication codes;
- payment card numbers, bank login details, or other financial credentials;
- government identification documents;
- unnecessary home-address or other highly sensitive personal information;
- another person’s private information without authorization.
Contact information. Phone numbers and other contact details should be shared through SOLVEQO’s intended access rules where available. Users may exchange contact details where the marketplace permits it for a relevant job relationship, but must not harvest, misuse, publish, or exploit another user’s contact information.
The following are not allowed:
- doxxing or publishing another person’s private information without authorization;
- misusing another user’s phone number or contact details for harassment, spam, fraud, or off-platform abuse;
- pressuring users to share sensitive information unrelated to a legitimate job.
Our Privacy Policy explains how SOLVEQO handles personal data.
10. Malicious content and platform abuse
The following are not allowed:
- malicious links, malware, harmful files, or phishing;
- attempts to compromise another user’s account or device;
- attempts to exploit, disrupt, or interfere with SOLVEQO;
- unauthorized access attempts or bypassing security controls;
- manipulating offers, jobs, reviews, or other marketplace activity to gain unfair advantage;
- abusing reporting or blocking tools, including false or bad-faith reports;
- creating or using accounts to evade restrictions, suspensions, or enforcement;
- coordinated abuse targeting other users.
11. Sexual, exploitative and violent content
Content on SOLVEQO must be appropriate for a local services marketplace.
The following are not allowed:
- sexually explicit content unrelated to legitimate marketplace use;
- exploitative, degrading, or non-consensual sexual content;
- graphic violent content or threats of violence unrelated to legitimate marketplace use.
Legitimate job content. Photos or descriptions that show repair damage, construction conditions, equipment, or similar job-related material may be acceptable when relevant to a genuine job, offer, profile, or portfolio. Do not use legitimate job documentation as a pretext for prohibited content.
12. Child safety
SOLVEQO has zero tolerance for content or conduct that exploits or endangers minors.
The following are not allowed:
- sexual exploitation or abuse of minors;
- grooming or attempts to establish inappropriate contact with a minor;
- sexual content involving minors;
- trafficking, exploitation, or endangerment of minors;
- using SOLVEQO to recruit, exploit, or put a minor at risk.
If you encounter child-safety concerns on SOLVEQO, report them through available in-app tools and/or contact support@solveqo.com. Where required or appropriate under applicable law, serious concerns may also be reported to relevant authorities.
SOLVEQO does not represent that it uses a specific automated child-safety detection system unless we explicitly state otherwise.
13. Reporting violations
If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, you can use available in-app reporting tools to report:
- a user;
- a job;
- a review; or
- a message.
You may also contact support@solveqo.com with your account email, relevant context, and a description of what happened.
What to expect. We review reports but cannot guarantee action on every submission. Reports do not guarantee that SOLVEQO will remove content, suspend an account, respond within any particular time, or resolve a dispute between users. We review reports as reasonably practicable, but we do not provide 24/7 moderation or guaranteed outcomes.
Not the same as job completion reporting. The separate in-app “Report a problem” flow during job completion is a job-status tool. It is not the same as reporting a safety or policy violation through the reporting tools described above.
14. Blocking users
You can block another user to limit further interaction.
Depending on available features, blocking may:
- restrict messaging and certain marketplace interactions between you and the blocked user, including offers where technically enforced;
- hide the blocked user from relevant areas of the app for the blocking user.
Important:
- Blocking is a personal safety and interaction-control tool.
- Blocking does not by itself remove the other person’s account from SOLVEQO.
- Blocking does not guarantee platform-wide enforcement against that user.
If you experience serious or repeated policy or safety violations, you should also use reporting tools where appropriate.
You can manage blocked users in the app and unblock users later if you choose.
15. Enforcement
SOLVEQO may, where appropriate and subject to applicable law:
- investigate reports;
- restrict or remove content;
- restrict features or visibility;
- suspend accounts; or
- terminate accounts.
Enforcement decisions may depend on factors such as seriousness, context, repeated violations, safety or security risks, the information available to us, and legal requirements.
We do not promise warnings before enforcement, a specific response timeline, guaranteed removal, or an appeals process unless we explicitly provide one in the app or in writing.
Enforcement under these Guidelines does not make SOLVEQO responsible for off-platform conduct or physical work performed by users.
